Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
The terms you are agreeing to when you book a session, a wedding, an event, or the studio.
1. These terms
These terms apply to every booking with Travis Olufemi Studios (“we”, “us”, “the studio”). By paying a deposit or confirming a booking you accept them. If anything here does not suit your circumstances, talk to us before booking — we would rather agree something sensible up front.
2. Booking and deposits
A date is only held once a deposit has been paid. Until then it stays available to others. Deposits come off your total, and the balance is due on or before the day of the shoot unless we have agreed a payment plan in writing. Where a payment plan is in place, instalments are collected automatically on the agreed schedule.
3. Cancellations and rescheduling
- Deposits are non-refundable. They hold your date and cover work already done in preparing for it.
- Rescheduling — tell us as early as you can and we will move your booking to another available date at no extra charge, once. Later changes may mean a fresh deposit.
- Cancelling close to the date — if you cancel within 14 days of a session, or within 60 days of a wedding, the balance may still be payable, because the date can rarely be filled at short notice.
- If we have to cancel — through illness, an emergency, or anything else on our side, you will receive a full refund of everything you have paid, including the deposit. Where we can, we will help you find another photographer.
4. On the day
Please arrive on time; sessions run to the length booked, and lost time cannot usually be added on the end. If you are running late, call us. We photograph in the way shown in our portfolio and will use our creative judgement on posing, framing, and editing — but tell us what matters to you beforehand and we will build the shoot around it.
5. Delivery of your photographs
Your gallery is normally delivered within the timeframe agreed at booking. You then choose your favourites, and we edit and return those. Unless we have agreed otherwise:
- you receive the number of edited images included in your package;
- raw and unedited files are not included, and are available separately at extra cost;
- your gallery stays open for 90 days, after which it is archived and can be reopened on request.
6. Copyright and how images may be used
Copyright in every photograph remains with Travis Olufemi Studios. What you receive is a licence to use your images for personal purposes — printing them, sharing them with family and friends, and posting them on your own social media. Please do not crop out or edit over our work, apply heavy filters, or use the images commercially without asking us first. Businesses booking commercial or brand work should ask us for a commercial licence, which we are happy to arrange.
We may use your photographs in our portfolio and marketing only with your agreement — see our Privacy Policy.
7. Studio hire
- Hire times include your setup and pack-down — please build that into the slot you book.
- Leave the space as you found it. You are responsible for any damage to the studio, its furniture, or its equipment during your hire.
- Included equipment is provided in working order; tell us immediately if something is faulty rather than attempting a repair.
- You are responsible for the conduct and safety of everyone you bring with you.
- No smoking, and no open flames, anywhere on the premises.
- The premises are covered by keycode entry and CCTV.
8. Things outside anyone’s control
Weather, travel disruption, illness, venue restrictions and equipment failure can all affect a shoot. Where something genuinely outside our control prevents us from delivering, we will offer a replacement date or a proportionate refund. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for the booking concerned, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, tell us. Email enquiry@travisolufemistudios.co.uk and we will reply promptly and try to put it right.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction.
